Autism Therapy.

Support built around how you actually think and experience the world, for autistic kids, teens, and adults alike.

What is it

What is autism therapy?

If you're searching 'autism therapy near me,' you might be looking for support for your child, or for yourself as an autistic adult navigating a world that wasn't built with your brain in mind. This isn't about trying to make anyone act less autistic. It's about understanding how you or your child experience things, and building tools and support around that, not against it.

Sessions might include working through sensory needs, communication differences, social navigation, executive functioning, or the exhaustion that can come from masking. For kids, that often includes working closely with parents and caregivers. For adults, it might mean unpacking a late diagnosis or simply having a space that doesn't require explaining yourself from scratch.

What we help with

What brings people in

Tap any of these to learn a little more about what it can look like.

Sensory sensitivities

Feeling overwhelmed by noise, light, texture, or other sensory input that others don't seem to notice.

Social navigation & communication

Feeling out of sync in social situations, or exhausted by the effort of navigating them.

Executive functioning

Trouble with planning, organizing, or following through on tasks, at home, school, or work.

Masking & burnout

The exhaustion that comes from suppressing natural behaviors to fit in, and what happens when that catches up with you.

Late diagnosis

Making sense of an autism diagnosis that comes later in life, as a teen or adult.

School & workplace challenges

Navigating environments that weren't designed with neurodivergent needs in mind.

Family & caregiver support

Support for parents and caregivers learning how to best show up for an autistic child.

We take Medicaid, always.

Most insurance is welcome here, aside from Medicare and Tricare. New clinicians carry Medicaid caseloads; our fully licensed team takes the rest. Two pro-bono intern slots are open too.
Why it helps

What autism therapy can do

Support built around how your brain works, not against it.

1

Tools that actually fit

Strategies built around your sensory needs, communication style, and executive functioning, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

2

Less exhaustion from masking

A space where you don't have to perform neurotypical to be understood.

3

Support that includes the family

For kids, caregivers get tools too, so support carries over at home.

4

A clearer sense of self

Especially valuable after a late diagnosis, or when making sense of a lifetime of masking.

Common questions

Before you start

Do you work with both kids and adults?

Yes, we support autistic clients across the lifespan, from young children through adults, including those exploring a late diagnosis.

Is this a diagnostic evaluation?

Our sessions focus on support and therapy rather than formal diagnostic testing. If you're seeking an evaluation, we can help point you toward the right resources.

Will you try to change how my child or I act?

No. Our goal isn't to make anyone act less autistic. It's to build support and tools around how you or your child actually experience the world.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most insurance, aside from Medicare and Tricare, and we always accept Medicaid. Clinicians who are newer to the team carry Medicaid caseloads, while our fully licensed clinicians take on other insurance types, so there's a good mix across the practice.

Are your clinicians licensed?

Yes, every clinician currently on our team is fully licensed.
